Setup a Disqus Account
To set up Disqus commenting, you must first create a Disqus Account at https://disqus.com/websites/). You will need to use Disqus For Websites in order to add this commenting style to your BLOX site.
Once you are at Disqus for Websites, sign up 1 for an account. Once you have an account, you will need to go to Add Disqus to Your Site 2 in order to create a shortname.
To create a shortname, enter your site name 1 in to the field. This will create your unique Disqus URL 2, which will become your shortname. The shortname cannot be changed, so make sure it is what you want before proceeding. After you've entered it to your satisfaction, right click and copy it, write it down, or otherwise save or remember it. You will need it to finish the process in BLOX.
To finish registering with Disqus, select your category 3 and then register your site 4.
BLOX CMS Setup
Within the URL Settings, double-click on the root URL and then navigate to the Page Customizations tab. Next, within the Comments panel configure the following options:
Enable Comments: To enable commenting, set to True.
Commenting Mode: Select Disqus.
Disqus shortname: Enter your Disqus shortname.
You may need to wait a few minutes for the new commenting style to appear. You will know when it has switched over because the commenting rules will be gone, and there will be light grey Disqus information across the bottom.
