Automatic image optimization will improve front-end performance on the BLOX CMS

Beginning November 9th, 2021 at 10:00 AM CT, TownNews will be enabling image optimization through our Content Delivery Network (CDN) on the BLOX CMS platform.

This optimization is expected to have a positive impact on image download sizes, without diminishing image quality. Some images may be delivered in the "WebP" image format where supported. This image format produces files that are smaller than JPEG files, but with similar image quality.
