In this release of BLOX Subscription, we've added support to the admin for adding a new credit card to a user's subscription. We've also expanded the subscription exports to include optional additional fielded data.
Credit card expired? We've made it easier to update.
- Now you can update a user's subscription by adding a new credit card in the BLOX Subscription admin. First, locate the user's most recent subscription transaction and open it. On the Transaction tab, click the "Add a new card" button and fill out the payment information.*
As noted on the bottom of the panel, the new card will become the default payment method on this user's subscription, and future recurring/renewal charges will be on the new card. If the account is near expiration or in grace and payment is due, it will be processed that day on the new card. Otherwise, the card will be charged the next time payment is due.
This is part of a new suite of Premium Credit Card Management features in Audience+, including the use of other payment gateways, Automated Credit Card Updater (Beta), the Secure Wallet, and more. Additional fees apply.
To be considered for the beta program, please submit a support ticket. Please note, certain prerequisites need to be met, including a live installation of Audience+ and One-page purchase. (SUBSCRIPTN-1017)
*As with any credit card transaction, your business needs to comply with the PCI compliance security standards for handling sensitive customer information.
- We are expanding the fields available for subscription export processing jobs, including Description, ActivationCode, Country, Cancel date, Currency, and PaymentMethod. If you are interested in adding more data to your exports, submit a support ticket. (SUBSCRIPTN-556967)
