Admin Management
Overview
An Admin type user account has the ability to log into BLOX NXT and manage your website. Admin accounts can only be created by another admin account within BLOX NXT. The following is meant to provide an overview of Admin Management within the Community Application including Search Filter, Advanced Filters, and Search Results. It also provides directions on how to create an admin account and how to accept the admin invitation.
Click on an individual Admin type account in the Search Results to open that Admin account in the Single Admin View.
📝 Normal type user accounts are not displayed here. Normal type user accounts are displayed and managed intheContacts Search.

Search Filter
The Search Filter allows the user to enter ‘search text’ to filter the search results. Type or paste text within this field to search by E-mail, First Name, or Last Name.

Advanced Filters
The Advanced Filters allows for filtering by the Admin account’s Account Status, Auth. Type, and Banned [Status].

Account Status
Returns Admin type user accounts that have a last logical Subscription Status of ‘Active’ or ‘Deleted’.
Auth. Type
Returns Admin type user accounts that have a matching Authentication Type (‘Password’, ‘Newzware’, ‘SAML’, ‘Google’, ‘Facebook’, ‘OpenID Connect’, ‘Apple ID’, or ‘OpenID 2.0’).
Banned [Status]
Returns Admin type user accounts that have been banned.
Search Results
Admin type user accounts matching the Search Filters and Advanced Filters will be listed in the Search Results.
Click on an individual Admin account in the Search Results to open that Admin account in the Single Admin View.
Hover over a Search Results column name to view column options (Sort where applicable, Pin, Hide, and Manage columns).

Create an Admin Account
To create an Admin account, follow the directions below.
📝If a contact already exists within theContacts Searchfor the admin account you wish to create, open that contact, then skip to step 6 below.
Click the ‘+’, Create Shortcut icon in the upper right
Select Account
📝you may need to type ‘user’ or ‘account’ in the create shortcut search depending on what application you currently in.
Enter Email and Password
📝the user will be asked to update the password later when they accept the admin invitation.
Optionally select Groups in which to enroll this admin user
📝Admin accounts will need to be given user group permissions in order to access any of the modules within BLOX NXT. If an Admin user has been created, but hasn't been assigned to any user groups, the user will be able to log into BLOX NXT, but won't have the ability to access any modules or applications. Click ‘Send Invite’
📝this will send an email invitation to the contact. The contact will need to click on the link within that invitation to continue.
Accept the Admin Invitation
The following directions detail the steps needed to accept an admin invitation.
Open the invitation email
Click on invitation link
Enter a password [and confirm the password] to create your [admin] account
Click ‘Confirm Invite’
📝 at this point the normal type User Account has been upgraded to an admin type User Account.
Click the ‘log in' link
Open ‘login verification code’ email
Copy the verification code
Enter the verification code into the ‘New login detected’ modal
