Overview
Many BLOX NXT applications provide an option called Saved Search. The Saved Search option will be displayed in the application navigation under applications that support it. Saved Searches are used for saving frequently used search criteria and can save considerable time. The following is meant to provide an overview of the Saved Search functionality, including how to Create a Saved Search, how to Use a Saved Search, and how to Make a Saved Search your default search.

Example Use Case
If you can search for it, you can create a Saved Search for it!
Reporters can use Saved Search to quickly filter to any assets they've created in the past.
Photographers can use Saved Search to filter out all assets except for Image assets.
Create [or replace] a Saved Search
To create a Saved Search [or replace an existing Saved Search], follow the directions below.

Open Search under an application that supports Saved Search
Use the Search Filter and Advanced Filters to complete a search query
Click the ‘star’ icon next to the Advanced Search Filter once you are ready to save your search
Choose ‘Create New’ [or ‘Replace Existing’ if you want to replace an existing Saved Search]
Click ‘Next’
Enter a Search Name for your Saved Search [or select the existing Saved Search to replace]
Choose a ‘Privacy [option]’
📝 Selecting ‘Shareable’ will allow other users to see and use this Saved Search whereas selecting ‘Private’ will ensure only you have access to this Saved Search.
Click ‘Save Search’
Use a Saved Search
To use a Saved Search, follow the directions below.
Navigate to the Saved Search option in the application navigation under the specific application for which you want to search
Optionally select the ‘My Saved Searches’ or ‘Shared with Organization’ Tab
📝 Saved Searches that you have created and selected to make sharable will still appear under ‘the My Saved Searches’ Tab. These will be marked with a ‘globe’ icon. Only Saved Searches created and shared by other users will appear in the ‘Shared with Organization’ Tab.
Click to select the Saved Search you want to use
Make a Saved Search your default search
To make an existing Saved Search your default search when you open a given application search, follow the directions below.
Navigate to the Saved Search option in the application navigation under the specific application for which you want to set a default search
Optionally select the ‘My Saved Searches’ or ‘Shared with Organization’ Tab
📝 Saved Searches that you have created and selected to make sharable will still appear under ‘the My Saved Searches’ Tab. These will be marked with a ‘globe’ icon. Only Saved Searches created and shared by other users will appear in the ‘Shared with Organization’ Tab.
Find the Saved Search you want to set as your default search
Click the ‘star’ icon under ‘Default’ next to the Saved Search you want to set as your default search
