This document covers BLOX NXT service types where an outside system handles the payment or subscriber record: In-App Purchase (Apple and Google app stores), Subscribe with Google, and circulation integrations (Brainworks, DSI, DTI, Falcon (Lee), Mediaspan, Newzware, and Vision Data). These service types appear in the New menu only when set up for your site, and none of them have Purchase Rates. General Settings, Custom Properties, and Email Notifications are covered in the Service Settings and Email Notifications document.
In-App Purchase services
In-App Purchase services give access to readers who subscribe inside your iOS or Android app. Apple or Google handles the payment; the service connects that purchase to access on your site and app. This service type appears in the New menu only when in-app purchases are set up for your apps. Create one In-App Purchase service per subscription product, for example IAP-Monthly and IAP-Annual.

Match the Apple and Android products to the same plan, so a reader gets the same access whichever store they buy from.
Email Notifications available for In-App Purchase services: Activate User for readers and Activate for admins. All other notices are grayed out, since Apple and Google send the purchase and billing emails.
Subscribe with Google services
Subscribe with Google services give access to readers who buy a subscription through Google. Google handles the payment; the service connects that purchase to access on your site. This service type appears in the New menu only when Subscribe with Google is enabled for your site.

Circulation integration services
Circulation integration services give access to readers who subscribe through your circulation system: Brainworks, DSI, DTI, Falcon (Lee), Mediaspan, Newzware, or Vision Data. Your circulation system handles billing; the service checks it to confirm who has access. Each integration appears in the New menu only when it's installed for your site, and BLOX Digital support typically helps with first-time setup.
All circulation integration services work the same way:
Configuration holds the connection details for your circulation system, followed by Gift Articles and the two Email Reach settings. Connection details come from your circulation vendor, and most are required to save.
Email Notifications: Activate User for readers and Activate for admins; the rest are grayed out, since your circulation system sends billing emails.
No Purchase Rates. Pricing lives in your circulation system.
