What is BLOX Access Control?
Access Control is the decision engine within BLOX CMS that allows administrators to dynamically target users as they view the site’s content.
Access Control can be setup and leveraged in a number of ways to meet specific audience and business goals. During the onboarding process, these goals are identified and Access Control is uniquely configured and tailored to achieve those goals.
Once configured, the Access Control interface allows for the configuration of targeted experiences (messaging, subscription offers, etc.) based on each type of audience or behavior through Access Offer Groups (or Offer Builder). These targeted experiences that make up the user journey is known as the subscription funnel.
In addition to revenue-generating targets, these targets could also include discouraging behaviors, like users with an Ad blocker, or rewarding users with a targeted message. The experience is dynamic because it is different for each user, depending on their behaviors and interactions with the site.
Access Control is part of the iQ Audience+ program that powers dynamic user journeys for paywalls, memberships, registration and much more.
