What is BLOX Blocks?
The Blocks Manager is where the site page layout and corresponding page customizations are managed. Site sections can be built out using content blocks that reside within the Blocks Library. These blocks can be dragged and dropped into the layout and modified in extensive ways.
Interface Overview
The BLOX Blocks interface consists of the following 5 panels:
URL map: This panel contains the URL map or site structure of your site as sections and subsections. To populate a subsection, click + next to a section. Sections can be edited by either double-clicking the section or highlighting the section, then choosing Edit.
Blocks Library: This panel contains all of the content blocks that have been created. Within this library, blocks can be created, edited, disabled, cloned or deleted. Blocks can also be imported or exported amongst BLOX sites.
Schedules: This panel allows you to create page schedules that can be added to any URL. Once a schedule has been added, a duplicate section will be available within the URL map. Any changes made within that section will only be viewable during the schedule.
Layout: This panel is the workspace where the page layout and navigation can be modified. Within the page layout, regions are available for placing content blocks. These regions are determined by site's wireframe or grid.
Utility Regions: This panel contains a set of additional regions that can be utilized for displaying content blocks within sections, subsections AND asset pages.
Page Customizations: This panels consists of of a number of panels that contain settings and options that directly affect layout, design, advertising, paywall and other settings. These settings can be configured either on a site-wide or per-URL basis.
