In order to drive engagement with brands we believe it is important to shine a spotlight on those who are creating the content. It is important to put a face to a name. Any asset shown in an article detail view will feature an author (or authors) box displaying the author’s name and image, if available. When clicked this box will take the user to a list of the most recent assets published from this author. It will also include a “Follow author” button.
📝This feature will only show on an article detail view if the author user is set on the asset. Adding a byline including the author will not add this box.

How to
The ‘Author box position’ setting in the ‘Article Detail Settings’ section of the ‘Customization’ tab.
By default, the author box will show in the middle of an article detail view. This is roughly 60% from the beginning of the body. BLOX Mobile App Managers have the options to place the author box at the Top, Bottom, or keep in the Middle. The ‘Author box position’ option can be found in the ‘Article Detail Section’ within the ‘Customization’ tab.
The author box can also be disabled by selecting the option labeled “Disabled”. This will disable the author box on all assets.
Follow Author
The “Follow author” feature enables users to keep up to date on their favorite author’s latest content. When clicked the user will see a “Favorite Author” section in the ‘For you’ tab. This section is shown roughly half way down the feed and will show the latest content from all favorite authors shown in a horizontal slider.
