How to add a splash screen advertisement placement to a Mobile NX app

The splash screen ad could potentially be the first advertisement your users see on the BLOX Mobile NX app. This is a static image which appears in the lower third of the splash screen image. The image does not rely on GAM and therefore requires manual upload and removal from BLOX Mobile App Manager.
When the app loads it will download the splash screen image from the server and display it in the placement immediately. This can take up to 5 seconds depending on the network connection of the device. The app will then load the rest of the app. In some cases, the time between when the image shows, and the app finishes loading may be shorter than desired for the advertiser. In this case, we do offer a delay of up to 20 seconds (6 seconds by default) to allow the ad placement to show.
Prerequisites
BLOX Mobile NX version 1.11.0 (App version 215.0)
The required dimension of the splash screen ad is 596 x 390px.
How to
This is the preferred method for setting up a splash screen ad. The BLOX Mobile NX app still supports legacy setup in Blocks/Page Customization and will continue to use any image upload through this method.
To setup a splash screen, follow the directions below.

Open the ‘Apps’ Application from the Application Navigation menu
Click the ‘Monetization’ tab
Scroll down to the section labeled ‘App Launch Ad Settings’
Click in the ‘Splash screen overlay’ field to upload/find the desired splash screen ad image
💡If you wish to modify the time between when the app finishes loading and when the app transitions to the tab view, then the field labeled ‘Splash screen delay’ should be modified to the desired amount. The default is 6 seconds. Please note too much additional time may frustrate users as they will not have the option to skip the delay.
Click ‘Save’ on the toolbar
Click the ‘Configuration’ tab
Click ‘Publish version‘
Click ‘Make live’
📝After clicking ‘Make live’, the splash screen ad should appear roughly 5 minutes later. In some cases this may take up to 15 minutes due to cache.
