Digital Rights Management (DRM) is a systematic approach to copyright protection for digital media to prevent unauthorized redistribution of digital media. Incoming DRM Policies can be setup to setup restrictions on the content that can be ingested into your site. Incoming DRM Policy restrictions are currently only available to sites partners involved with our TownNews Content Exchange Network program.
To create a new incoming DRM policy, select +Add within the toolbar. This will populate the Edit incoming DRM rejection rule.
A Specific Web Site: This option allows you to reject DRM restricted content from a specific domain. Enter the domain you wish not to receive content from.
A Specific Business: This option allows you to reject DRM restricted content from a specific business. Choose the business from which you wish not to receive content from. This function pulls from a master database of businesses, based on which domains they are associated with.
A Business Group: This option allows you to reject DRM restricted content from a specific Business Group. Choose the Business Group from which you wish to not receive content from. This function pulls from a master database of Business Groups, based on which domains they are associated with.
