Within the BLOX realm, there are two different types of user accounts: Normal and Admin
Normal accounts
A normal account (or user account) is an account a that reader signs up for on your website. Anyone can sign up for a user account for no charge.
Benefits of having a user account include the ability to comment on content, save noteworthy content for later and interact with BLOX applications like Access Control, Ad-Owl, Businesses, Forms, Subscription and Upsell Manager.
Establishing an account isn't required, but will be necessary when purchasing a subscription or completing other secure site transactions.
Normal accounts can be created on a reader's behalf within BLOX, but are primarily created by readers themselves within the site.
User Dashboard
Readers can manage their accounts within their User Dashboard, a free online account utility typically available within the site navigation. In addition to being able to purchase subscriptions, readers can also contribute content to site staff, manage push notifications and email newsletters, as well as complete User Profile with general information and avatar.
BLOX adheres to the social media commenting standard. When a reader posts a comment, other readers can learn more about the commenter by viewing his or her profile information, directly from the comment itself.
For sites featuring paywalled content, subscription services or secure transactions requiring payment, establishing a user account will be required.
Admin accounts
An Admin account is an account that has all of the same benefits of a Normal account, with the primary difference being the ability to log into BLOX CMS and manage your website. Admin accounts can only be created by another admin account within BLOX CMS and can't be created by a reader. Normal accounts can however be upgraded to admin accounts, if necessary.
