• Introduced a new feature to handle front-end user profile updates and sync information for OpenID Connect (OIDC) connections. User account details such as First Name, Last Name, and Screen Name are now automatically synchronized when the "Automatically update account details" option is enabled in Federated Authentication settings. • Added the ability to batch edit the "Byline" field for all supported asset types. This new option allows content managers to efficiently credit non-staff contributors, such as freelance photographers, by applying a single byline to multiple assets simultaneously through the batch edit tool. The Byline field can be found under the Miscellaneous tab in batch edit tool. (TNCMS-555462)

IMPROVEMENTS

• Improved the behavior of Social fields in Notifier to ensure they inherit only into Facebook and Twitter ( X ) channels when those fields are populated. If Social Title or Social Description are not provided, the system will default to existing Headline and Body content. (TNCMS-555548)

BUGS

• Fixed an issue where adding sibling assets to a draft article would cause the draft content to be lost. Now, all draft text remains intact when siblings are added to a draft asset. (TNCMS-554354)

• Resolved an issue where sections with empty path fields in the tags table caused a 500 Internal Server Error when accessing the /sectionTree2 action. The solution now ensures that sections cannot be created with empty 'name' values by throwing an exception during creation. This approach prevents the issue at its source, improves data quality, and ensures smooth loading of the asset list and section tree. (TNCMS-555522)

• Resolved an issue where inline reference tags for imported children did not correctly update to match external ID references during fast and slow push syndication. Inline content now properly references imported children when syndicating assets between sites. (TNCMS-554798)

This release also makes minor infrastructure changes that should not be noticeable to admin or front-end users.
