In this release for BLOX Mobile NX, app version 224.0, we have added support for additional Freestar ad placements on native views, improved livestream polling on Android, and resolved a number of editorial related bugs on iOS.
Features & Improvements (iOS & Android)
Freestar ads can now be configured for the following native views: eEdition sticky (publication main & reader), collection feed placements, For You sticky ad, For You feed view placements. These placements are configurable from AppMan’s monetization tab under ‘Freestar’. (TNNOWIOS-1821/TNNOWANDROID-1570)
Features & Improvements (iOS)
The ‘Puzzmo’ tab type is supported for customers with a Puzzmo partner ID. This was added to Android in a past release. WIth this addition on iOS, the tab is now usable and will not result in a crash if configured. (TNNOWIOS-1715)
The BLOX Mobile NX app now supports Google’s adaptive banner type. This was added to Android in a past release. (TNNOWIOS-1714, resolves CS-8784)
Features & Improvements (Android)
When certain combinations of HTML tags were used, the full article body would show in bold text. This has been resolved and only the text marked as bold, italics, etc will show decorated. (TNNOWIOS-1820, resolves CS-9260)
In the native eEdition reader, a random title would be assigned to the selected segment when tapped. This has been resolved and the correct title assigned to the cutout will be shown. (TNNOWIOS-1828, CS-9319
This release also makes minor infrastructure changes that should not be noticeable to admin or front-end users.
