This FLEX Templates release introduces new analytics tracking events for e-Edition, enhances block functionality, and resolves bugs related to credit card expiration dates, date pickers, and last updated start times.
Added new standard events to E-edition pages to enhance analytics tracking. These events include:
E-Edition Page Viewed: Triggered when opening or transitioning between pages.
Page Navigation Initiated: Triggered when navigating to a different page using various controls (e.g., navbar, swipe, buttons, or keyboard).
Segment Asset Viewed: Triggered when clicking on a segment within a page.
Display Fit Selected: Triggered when selecting display options like "Fit two pages" or "Fullscreen."
Zoom Level Modified: Triggered when adjusting the zoom level using controls like pinch zoom or keyboard shortcuts. (FLEXBLOX-10298)
Enhanced the "Utility: Promotional Sticky Footer" block to improve functionality and reduce unnecessary content. The "Block content link" property now applies to the image, making both the image and text clickable. Additionally, the block will only display the content area if there is a block title or content text, and the button area will only appear if there is button text and a button link. (FLEXBLOX-10419)
We’ve added a text color customization option to the "Ads: Zergnet" block, allowing users to set the text color to light or dark. This improvement ensures better compatibility with dark-themed sites without requiring custom CSS. (FLEXBLOX-10453)
We fixed an issue where credit card expiration dates defaulted to the past in December. They now correctly default to January of the next year. (FLEXBLOX-10476)
We have fixed an issue where using the date picker for the Birthday field in the "Utility: User Controls Modal" block would inadvertently close the modal during signup. When the Birthday field is set to "Available" or "Required" in the /users URL customization, it will now display correctly, and the modal will remain open when interacting with the date picker. (FLEXBLOX-9633)
Fixed an issue where the icon image for the "Email Card: Most Popular" block was broken. The icon now displays correctly. (FLEXBLOX-10474)
Fixed an issue where the dateModified meta tag in editorial assets displayed an inaccurate time due to timezone offset. The lastupdated method now correctly applies datetime filter parameters to ensure the displayed time matches the actual update time. (FLEXBLOX-10477)
This release also makes minor infrastructure changes that should not be noticeable to admin or front-end users.
