In this release of BLOX NXT Admin (version 0.29.0), we're giving editors faster ways to set up and reuse story structure, clearer signals about where an asset stands, and better tools for managing admins and subscribers across multiple sites. Dynamic Collections let you define a saved query that keeps a collection populated automatically, and Story Templates can now be built from scratch, pinned to the create menu, and edited without publish-and-draft getting in the way. New status indicators and an expanded info bar make it obvious whether an asset is live, scheduled, or holding unpublished changes, and deleted assets can now be reviewed, recovered, or purged outright. On the administration side, admins and groups can be copied to other sites in a network in a single action. Beta features also saw meaningful progress this cycle.

My Preferences
Personal settings previously scattered across the platform are now consolidated into a dedicated My Preferences section accessible from the user profile/gravatar, covering both global and app-specific options like session tracking, theme, language, and (new) Default Asset Settings. (CMSADMIN-799)
Default Presentations User Preference
Under My Preferences, Default Asset Settings let you choose the presentation automatically applied to any new blank asset. If your newsroom or you as a reporter always use Longform or Personality, set that as your default and you won’t need to select it for each article, image, or collection. If a Story Template is applied, the template’s presentation will take precedence. (CMSADMIN-1335)
Search and Pin Story Templates from the Create Menu
The global "+" create launcher now lets you search for and pin story templates, so you can start a new story from the right structure and metadata immediately instead of creating an article and applying a template afterward. (CMSADMIN-2369)
Create a Story Template from Scratch
You can now build a story template directly, without first creating and converting a source article. This removes the workaround of duplicating articles or setting far-future publish dates just to keep placeholder content out of your article search. (CMSADMIN-2580)
Templates No Longer Use Publish/Draft Actions
Story Templates now behave like reusable presets rather than publishable content. The Publish action has been removed from the template editor, making template editing feel safer and more predictable. Want to make changes to your template? Simply Save changes rather than publish. (CMSADMIN-2368)
Dynamic Collections
Collections now support a Dynamic mode in addition to the existing curated approach. Instead of hand-picking every asset, editors can define a saved query that automatically populates the collection based on matching criteria, with support for pinned assets, sorting, and result limits. Asset Status Indicator
Asset detail pages now display the asset's current status alongside the Publish button, so you can quickly tell at a glance whether an asset is live, draft, unpublished, processing, or deleted before you take action. (CMSADMIN-2288)
Status Info Bar Now Shows Online State and Last Updated
The story information bar at the bottom of article assets now communicates whether an asset is available online, along with last-updated timestamp and revision/version details, so it's clear that a published version exists even while you're saving a draft. (CMSADMIN-2286)
Open, Review, Recover, and Purge Deleted Assets
Deleted assets can now be opened and reviewed directly from search results. Use the right‑click "Undo deletion" option to recover an asset (matching the legacy CMS workflow), or permanently purge a deleted asset from the same right‑click menu or the search results action toolbar to remove all traces. Site Tag Origin and View At Site Options
Site tags in NXT now support setting origin and View At Site options, giving hub-and-spoke publishers proper canonical URLs on syndicated content. (CMSADMIN-2340)
Inserting Links Improvements
The Insert Link tool in the article editor has been split into two actions: Link to URL and Link to Asset. Link to Asset opens the full Asset Library search and lets you filter by section, publish status, and workflow when selecting a target. Link to URL now provides a faster URL-entry flow and an option to open the link in a new window. The formatting palette is now a dropdown with Link to URL, Link to Asset, and Remove Link. Article Preview: Text Links Are Now Clickable

Admin Profiles and Multi-Site Management
Copy Admins and Groups Across Your Network
Managing admin accounts across a network of sites no longer means rebuilding the same people and permissions on every property. Manage Admins & Groups now supports selecting multiple admins or groups and copying them to other sites in your network in a single action.
Select admins or groups from the list — individually, or all at once — and choose Copy to Site. A searchable list shows the domains you have admin access to, and you can pick as many destinations as you need. If a copy succeeds on some sites and fails on others, you'll see exactly which ones went through.
For publishers running multiple, this removes a setup tax that previously scaled with every site added and every person hired, and it reduces the permission drift that comes from configuring the same role by hand a dozen times.
A few things to know:
Copies are independent. Changes made to the original admin or group do not yet propagate to the copies — linked inheritance is planned as a follow-up.
Copying a group brings its definition and capabilities, not its members. A user must already be an admin on the destination site before they can be assigned to the group there.
If a group with the same name already exists on a destination site, that site is skipped with a notice. Rename and copy again to proceed.
Available to users with network-level admin scope and the Manage Users/Admins permission. (CMSADMIN-2676)
Admin Account Avatars
Admin profiles now support an avatar image. Upload a JPG, PNG, or GIF up to 5MB from the Edit Basic Profile modal, with preview, replace, and remove options. Avatars already set in the legacy CMS carry over. (CMSADMIN-1718)
Social Media Links on Admin Profiles
Managing Admin profiles now include Facebook, LinkedIn, and X fields in Basic Information. (CMSADMIN-1177)
Quick Filters Widget on Admin Accounts
A Quick Filters widget on the Admin Account view lists your saved filters by name and application, and clicking one opens the relevant app with the filter already applied. (CMSADMIN-1719)

Delimited Service Manager now displays a sample of previously uploaded subscriber records, with search and download, so you can validate data and catch errors during recurring bulk uploads. Filter Contacts by Rate Name

Dashboard: Duplicate Dashboards, Widget Visualization Options, and Filter Messaging
Custom Dashboard users can now duplicate any custom or system dashboard to create a new version without rebuilding widgets, filters, or layout from scratch. The Configure Widget modal also exposes each widget's supported visualization types (for example, area vs. bar chart or bar chart vs. funnel), so you can choose the display that best fits your data. And when an applied filter doesn't apply to a particular widget, that widget now displays a clear indicator saying which filter was skipped and confirming which filters were applied. Feeds: Channel and Category Improvements
We fixed several issues across Feeds (Syndication) to improve reliability and usability: the channel selector now pages so sites with 100+ channels see all results; switching between feeds in the left rail consistently loads channel content; advanced category filters now display selections correctly and applied filters match; editing the category map no longer re‑adds removed categories; and the Channels UI has been cleaned up (for example, View and Add to Site are now mutually exclusive), with related permissions and routing issues resolved. Email Reach: Duplicate Campaigns, Account Fixes, and Custom Subject Persistence
You can now duplicate Single Send and Recurring campaigns from the campaign list via right‑click—the new campaign is pre-populated with the copied configuration and fully editable before sending or scheduling. We also resolved several account-related issues (including an empty modal when reopening an account) and ensured the Custom Subject toggle now persists correctly when turned off on existing campaigns. Notifier: Per‑Message Logs and Partially Sent Status
