How does the article gifting feature work?
To gift an article, navigate to the article you want to send, click on the "Gift" button, enter the recipient's email address, and add a personalized message to the email if desired. The recipient will receive an email from the subscriber with a link to access the gifted article. Yes. The article gifting feature is for subscribers only.Is there a limit to how many articles users can gift?
Yes. You can choose to allow 3, 5, 10, 15 or 20 articles to be gifted on each service. The number resets each month.If someone posts a gift article on social media, does it create a loophole for other users to visit the article for free?
No. Each gift article can only be redeemed once. If someone shares the link on social media, the users will be presented with the paywall if the gift link has already been consumed.Do article gift recipients need to log in to view the article?
To redeem a gifted article, the end user must register or login.Can I use this feature if I use a 3rd party circulation service such as Newzware, Naviga or Vision Data?Yes. This feature is available for all service types except Free.
Does this work on other asset types besides articles?
No. For the initial launch of the feature, it is for articles only.Do I need BLOX Audience+ to use this feature?
Yes. This feature is available exclusively to BLOX partners with Audience+ installed. Subscriptions Pro and BLOX Audience sites are not eligible to use this feature. For more information about BLOX Audience+, reach out to your sales rep or submit a support ticket.
