Audience+ supports the use of promo codes for special landing pages and tracking behind-the-scenes. Since Rates are the driving force behind prices, promo codes are optional.
Promo codes can be used 3 ways:
- Dynamically in the URL of a landing page
hub.example.com/subscribe/spokesite/promo/?promoCode=2023promosale- Add a promo code to your active Rate in BLOX Subscription using the Promo code tab.
- Add the code to the offer on your landing page in Access Control. Open the landing page offer group on the hub, go to the Targeting tab, click Update on the Link from Service, and choose the promo code.
- Once that is done, append ?promoCode=YOURPROMOCODE to the end of your landing page URL.
- Behind the scenes in an offer/landing page
- Repeat 1.1 and 1.2 of the procedure above. You do not need to add ?promoCode to the url.
- Emailed to one specific user
- Open the Service then Rate you want to send in BLOX Subscription, then click the One-Time Promos tab.
- Click New, then enter the user’s email address and an optional expiration date.
- The user will receive an email with the promo code that they can use to subscribe.
NOTE: the email template will send users to the legacy purchase flow by default, in the user dashboard. The promo offer redemption link can be modified in the email template to send to a special offer page instead. We have made changes to point to the promo pages for each site.
