What is BLOX Static Pages?
BLOX Static Pages is where informational site pages are managed. Static Pages are considered "static" because they don't pull in content from the CMS, unlike their Editorial counterpart.
Static Pages are designed to feature site content that doesn't frequently change. These pages include but aren't limited to About Us, Contact Us, Privacy Policy and Terms of Service pages.
Interface Overview
The BLOX Static Pages interface consists of 3 panels:
Page List: This panel lists all of the Static pages that have been created on your site. Within this panel, pages can be created, edited or deleted. Static pages can also be imported from another BLOX site.
Page Editor: The Page Editor panel is the workspace where a Static page can be modified.
A parent URL for all Static pages can also be declared within the application Settings. Page Preview options are also available for viewing a Preview or Live View of the page.
Settings: Within the Static Page Settings, a default section (or URL) can be defined. When Static Pages are created, they'll automatically be associated with this section.
By default, the /site section is defined, while the URL is set to use the Static Pages URL skin. If the need arises to use a different section, or multiple Static Page sections are required, the URL will also need to feature this URL skin. Only URLs that feature this skin will be available for selection within the Select section dropdown menu.
