Working with existing static pages
Static Page can be modified by either double-clicking the page within the Page Lists panel or highlighting the page and then choosing Edit. This will populate the page within the Page Editor. Multiple Static Pages can be edited at once within individual tabs by repeating this process for each page.
How to create a new static page
Within the Page Lists panel, choose +Add to populate a new, untitled Static Page within the Page Editor.
Next, specify a Title for the Static Page. As the Title is entered, the Name field will dynamically populate with the name of the URL that will be created.
Since URLs don't support spaces, any spaces that are included within the Title will automatically be converted to underscores. The Name can however be changed manually during page-creation or anytime in the future.
For example, when creating Title "About Us", it will be converted to "about_us". If "about_us" isn't desired, this can easily be overridden with something else, such as "about".
Once the new page is created, it can be saved using the Save option.
Static page URL naming convention
As noted in the BLOX Static Pages Overview, a default section (or URL) can be defined for the automatic association with any Static Pages that are created, with /site being our standard default.
When a new Static Page is created using those defaults, this is the breakdown of how the URL will be structured:
domain.com + default section + Static Page Name + .html
How to export a static page
To export a Static Page, within the Page Lists panel, right-click on the specific page and then select Export. The page will immediately be downloaded as a .zip.
How to import a static page
To import a Static Page that has been exported from another instance of BLOX Static Pages, within the Page Lists panel, choose +Add and then Import page. An Import Page Archive window will populate where you'll have the opportunity to upload a previously downloaded .zip file from either your local machine or Dropbox.
