Use case:

If you have a series of articles and you want to have a final summary article that brings in information from each of the previous articles in the series, this can be done using a merged article.

Step-by-step:

To take the Body Copy from selected article assets and merge them into the Body Copy of one new article with the text from the multiple articles separated by horizontal lines:

1. From the drop-down in the the upper left choose Editorial / Assets...

2. Select the articles you wish to merge.

3. From the New asset drop down choose Merged Article.

A new article asset popup will open which will automatically populate the Body Copy from the articles selected to merge. There will automatically be a horizontal rule added between the text of the merged articles.

Proceed with this asset as you would any other article asset.
