Auto Processing
A feature exists that will auto process your e-edition and therefore not require you to manually create a new edition.
To activate the auto process you will need to FTP a blank text file named 'end.txt' into each feed directory that you place your PDFs into. The best practice for this process is to first FTP your PDF files and then FTP the end.txt file so that the blank text file will be last in the file order thus triggering the job to run. A new edition will automatically be created within 5 minutes following the FTP file transfer and will appear in your BLOX admin and on any blocks on the site that are pulling in applicable editions.
Example: A site has a publication set up for Special Editions assigned to section 'special'. All PDFs are moved via ftp to the sitename.com/data/feeds/eedition_special/. Then after the file move of PDFs is complete, create a blank text file named 'end.txt' and move that into the same ftp directory. A new Special Edition will automatically be created with those PDFs included.
NOTE: If you are moving PDFs into multiple data/feeds/eedition* directories, the end.txt file needs to be added to each of those folders (after moving the PDFs).
