What is BLOX Syndication?
BLOX Syndication is used to aggregate and manage third-party content from various sources across the web for use within BLOX CMS.
Powerful Syndication tools
BLOX Syndication is based on Syndication Channels for pulling in content. Once a Channel has been established, the Search terms panel can be used to query content with specifics, such as asset type, category and date. That criteria can then be used as the basis of a Content Importer for automatically pulling in content on an ongoing basis.
Interface Overview
The BLOX Syndication interface consists of 5 panels:
Channel: This dropdown panel lists all of the syndication channels that have been created within the Application Settings.
Search Terms: This panel contains a number of filters that can be set for locating content for syndication. These filters are unique for each Syndication Channel type.
Saved Searches: This panel is used for saving frequent search criteria that has been entered within the Search Terms panel for future queries.
Search Results: This panel lists content available for syndication. This panel will list up to 25 assets at a time, based on start date date. The paging tools at the bottom of the panel can be used for exploring older assets.
