BLOX Admin User Preferences
The User Preferences menu is located in the upper right-hand corner of the BLOX admin and can be accessed by selecting the down arrow following the "Logged in as" email address. This menu includes the following options:
Preferences
Default asset start time: Use this preference to set the default time to use for all new assets you create. This preference will last only for the duration of your session. After logging out and logging back in, the system will revert to using the current date and time until you set this preference again.
Default asset workflow: Use this preference to set the default asset workflow to use for all new assets you create.
Default asset author: Use this preference to automatically set yourself as author for all new assets you create.
Rich text editor font size: Use this preference to set the text size when viewed within text editors located throughout BLOX CMS. Options include: Normal, Large or Extra-Large
Connections
Use this preference to configure the Twitter account that you'd automatically send push notifications to for all new assets you create.
Select Twitter to populate an authorization panel and within enter the credentials for the Twitter account you would like to associate your BLOX user account with. Complete the prompts to complete the API connection and handshake with Twitter.
Profile
Use this option to modify your user account within the User Account editor.
Mobile Interface
Use this option to switch to the mobile admin interface, a streamlined tool for reporters in the field that use smaller devices. The mobile interface provides essential reporting tools such as article creation and a media upload feature. Reporters can adhere to a smart workflow (Workflows can be setup within BLOX CMS Settings) where mobile content is promoted to the next step towards publication, without risking content that isn't site ready from accidentally being available to readers on your site.
Feedback
Use this option to view the TownNews Customer Forum. Customers can brainstorm and share ideas, as well as ask questions that can be resolved by both our Customer Support team and other BLOX CMS users.
Log out
Use this option to end the current session and log out of the BLOX CMS admin.
