Managing User Contributed Content
When content has been submitted by a reader, a site admin will receive an email notification that includes details of the contribution. This email notification is a call-to-action to review the contributed content within Editorial Assets and then determine if, and how, the content will be presented on the site for public view.
An email address can be set for notification when content has been contributed within the Editorial Asset Application Settings, within the Contributed Content panel. Multiple email address can be listed and should be listed separately in their own line.
Contributed content can be approved within Editorial Assets by using the User Contributed filters within the Search Terms panel. Contributed content is automatically flagged with the "Contributed" flag, making this content easy to locate. This tag will appear within content to let other readers know that the content was submitted by another reader.
An asset can be approved by disabling the "Do not publish" option within the Other tab beneath the Miscellaneous Properties panel.
Once the asset has been approved, it will appear within the Manage Content panel where the user can view, edit or delete the asset.
