We are writing to inform you about an important decision regarding our email hosting services including our Webmail product. After careful consideration, we have made the decision to discontinue this service, effective September 26, 2023. This decision was made in order to focus our resources on new strategic initiatives and better serve the evolving needs of our partners.
This end-of-life announcement only encompasses BLOX Digital's email hosting and webmail services. Our integrated email marketing suite, BLOX Email Reach, will not be affected.
We want to assure you that we will make every effort to support you during this transition period. We have outlined below the key details and steps you need to be aware of:
End of Life timeline:
August 9, 2023 - End of support: We will cease providing technical support for email services.
September 26, 2023 - End of service: Email will be fully discontinued, and the service will be permanently shut down. After this date, you will no longer have access to BLOX Digital's email services, including Webmail, POP3/IMAP and SMTP or any associated data.
Migration assistance:
We understand that transitioning to a new email service can be a complex process. To help you during this period, we are providing resources and guidance for migrating your email data and accounts to common alternative email service providers.
To make this transition easier, we've prepared a document that includes information you’ll need to migrate to a new email client and provider.
Our Customer Support team will also be available to assist you with any questions or concerns you may have throughout the migration process.
Data retrieval and backup:
It is essential to back up any critical data from your email accounts before the end of service date. If you are using Webmail we recommend forwarding email to your new provider's account. If you use an email client like Microsoft Outlook your messages are already downloaded to the client software and you only need to configure that client to use the new email provider. Please note that after the end of service date, we will not be able to recover or provide access to any email data.
