Extensive research on Search Engine Optimization was done prior to the design of BLOX CMS.  As a result we found the following to be important factors for SEO that we have incorporated into the BLOX software and our template design.

• A unique and permanent URL to the content.
• Content should never be duplicated
• Title tags are critical to the relevance (that’s what the search engines use to determine what the page is about)
• Use real headline tags (H1, H2) to display headlines instead of font tags. This helps the search engines know what the key content portions are.
• Placement of BLOX keyword tags – which generate topic pages.
