Ad-Owl publications that are paid and require credit card payment can be tested in test mode, without requiring an actual credit card, nor processing an actual transaction. 

How to submit a test transaction

Within the Publications & Categories panel, select the publication that needs testing. In many instances, only a single publication will be listed. The highlighted publication will populate a Preview option within the toolbar, just to the left of the Edit option. 

The Preview option will open the selected publication within a new browser tab. To begin testing, select the category and subcategory. Next select the applicable ad package. After the ad package has been selected, one of two tabs will populate, based on the configuration of the publication: Print Ad or Online Ad. Complete the details within the ad-builder(s).

Finally, complete the contact and billing information. When it comes to payment information, use any credit card number and future expiration date. We recommend using the following:

How to process a test transaction

Test transactions can be reviewed within the Search Results panel. Test transactions are noted with the the test icon listed above. 

To edit or delete a test transaction, highlight it and then select the respective option within the toolbar. When a test transaction is being edited, it will feature a "This a test order" message, indicating that funds won't be processed. 

Approve or deny the order to process a dummy transaction. Approved ads will immediately be created within BLOX Classifieds. This asset will need to be deleted once testing has been completed.
