Create a New Snippet with the BLOX Total CMS Plug-in for Adobe InDesign
Here's how to create a new snippet using the BLOX Total CMS client for Adobe InDesign.
1. Log in to the plugin if you are not currently logged in.
2. Open or create a new document using InDesign.
3. Create the Adobe InDesign page items or frames that you want to become a snippet. Design Element snippets for placing Assets are easiest to create by using the legacy BLOX Total CMS Client for Adobe InDesign and placing an asset. Page Design snippets generally have frames with text and images that don't hold assets.
4. Click the `Snippets` tab in the `BLOX Total CMS Plug-in`'s panel.
5. Click the `New` button.
6. The `Export Snippet` dialog will display.
7. Choose the snippet type: `Page Design` or a `Design Element`.
8. Complete the `Snippet Name:` field.
9. Select any of the remaining options as described in the link below.
10. Click the `Export Snippet` button.
Here's how to locate the snippet after it is created using the Snippets Tab.
Search by the snippet's name, the folder, recent, or creator.
