What is BLOX Email Reach?
BLOX Email Reach is where email newsletters are created and managed within BLOX CMS. Email Reach works with Constant Contact, the industry standard for email marketing.
Constant Contact integration
During the Email Reach onboarding process, your project manager created a Constant Contact account for your team. Email Reach works with the Constant Contact API, so they're both directly connected.
When readers subscribe or unsubscribe to a newsletter, that action is synced between the two. Most functions within Constant Contact are also available within Email Reach, with the exception of some advanced settings, such as importing a list of users to a list.
Interface Overview
The Email Reach Overview consists of 5 panels:
Lists: The Lists panel is where newsletter lists can be created, edited or removed. A Lists represents a specific topic, such as Breaking News or Garage Sales, that readers have the opportunity to subscribe to.
Campaigns: The Campaigns panel is where newsletter campaigns can be created, edited or removed. A Campaign is the schedule in which a newsletter is emailed to readers.
Contacts: This Contacts panel is where users who have signed up for a List are managed.
Sent Messages: The Sent Messages panel lists newsletters that have been previously sent. Once a campaign has been Scheduled, it will be sent out within 10 minutes. After a campaign is sent out, the Status Column will reflect this change by indicating Sent, rather than Scheduled. Options include: View and Recall.
Application Settings: The Application Settings panel consists of a number of settings and options that affect BLOX Email Reach.
