BLOX Upsell Manager is the application where upsell packages are created and managed. Upsell packages are upgrades offered to users for enhancing user-contributions being offered via the User Dashboard.

BLOX Upsell Manager currently integrates with BLOX Businesses, Calendar and Editorial. 

How do Upsells work? 

Upsells are a great way of interacting with your readership, while also providing a revenue opportunity. BLOX Businesses lets users claim their business and make a number of business modifications for free. Upsells can be offered that include additional benefits over the free tier. User-contributed news is always a welcomed source of information, so instead of simply offering a free Submit News form, provide upsell options for a mutual benefit. Free user-contributed content could be featured within the /news/local section, while an upsell could offer the additional benefit of also being featured within the front site page.  

Interface Overview

The BLOX Upsell Manager interface consists of 4 panels: 

Search Terms: This panel contains a number of filters that can be set for locating upsell packages that have been previously been submitted.

Saved Searches: This panel is used for saving frequent search criteria that has been entered within the Search Terms panel for future queries.

Search Results: This panel is where upsells can be created, edited, renewed or deleted. The paging tools at the bottom of the panel can be used for exploring the page results.

Application Settings: The panel is where upsell packages and package groups can be created.
