Navigation
The left pane of the platform serves as the navigation. In this pane you will see each of the dashboards available to you.
Invite a User
The Invite a User feature lives in the navigation. By clicking the button ‘Send Invitations’ a modal opens up where you can enter email addresses that you would like to invite. You can enter multiple emails here separated by a semicolon to invite multiple users. In this view you can also see Pending Invitations of users invited but have not accepted. There is pagination at the bottom of the list. When you are done inviting users click the button ‘Done’ to return to the dashboard.
Platform Filters
Websites - populated with the domains for your group defined in TownNews CRM. If you are missing any domains please enter a ticket to request it to be added. This feature allows groups to see data across all domains. If a single or multiple domains are entered the dashboards will filter to the information relative to those domains.
Websites filter and Trending Board - If you are part of an organization with multiple domains and have NOT filtered down to a specific domain you will see a roll up of all domains in your organization. To filter down to a specific domain, start typing the domain in the website's filter.
If you use syndication, have multiple domains in your organization and have NOT filtered down to a specific domain this view will show you the canonical url (populates users and traffic across all sites). To get a view of how each site is performing, you can filter the dashboard down the wanted domains or view performance in the clickable headline (see Clickable Headlines Detail).
See Trending Dashboard for more information on the display of canonical urls.
Share Link
The share link gives you the ability to create a public url that does not prompt a user to login. The purpose of this is to make the data available to users without having to go through an authentication process and also for easier access for a monitor display (see Trending Dashboard / Monitor for more information).
When you click this button it will share the dashboard you are actively on and the current settings you have in place.
Currently, each logged in user can have one share link active. If the user adjusts their settings and clicks the share link button, the settings of that link will change.
Another way to use this link is for a user to save their filters for their view. If the user clicks the share link button with their preferred filters in place, those filters will be the default filters the next time the user logs in.
In the share link modal you can see the filters that are active for websites, sections and content types. To copy the link, click the copy button next to the url that is displayed. When done with the modal click the ‘Done’ button.
